Drone roof survey in Turnham Green
Our price is from £400, including VAT. A drone inspection, where applicable, is also part of our Premium Survey, along with structural analysis, a same-day report and an in-person consultation. It also includes a follow-up after 12 months. We’ll tell you if a drone is not the right tool for your roof. You get a written report with the close-up photos from the flight. We survey chimney stacks, valleys and parapet gutters and tall and steep roofs, and common reasons people get in touch are cracked slates and tiles out of sight from below and chimney tops in poor condition.
London roofs sit shoulder to shoulder in terraces and blocks, so privacy and neighbours matter as much as the view. Images are taken to show the roof we are surveying, with care for neighbours’ privacy. Mention access, height and anything unusual about the building when you book. The extra view helps most on steep slopes, tall stacks and rear additions.
You receive the findings by email, ready to forward to whoever needs them. Turnaround is within 48 hours for Basic, 24–48 hours for Standard and same day for Premium.

- Roofs and gardens beyond the one we’re surveying
- Whether the roof structure meets design loads
If you’re not sure which survey you need, ring 07833 053749 or email us and we will give you a straight answer. What a survey covers and does not.

Turnham Green: your questions answered
Will parking be an issue for a roof survey in Turnham Green?
It rarely stops a survey, but it’s worth planning. Let us know the parking rules on your street and we’ll work around them.
How do I find out if my home in Turnham Green is listed?
Historic England’s list shows listed buildings, and the local council can tell you about conservation areas. Listed building consent is needed for changes that affect a listed building’s special interest, and conservation areas can limit changes of roofing material.
Do I have to be there for the survey?
That depends on the survey. For inside areas and the roof space, someone has to give us access.
How long will you be at the property?
Typically, it takes about one to two hours at a house, including the airspace and weather checks before take-off. That includes checking the site and the weather before take-off.
Is your drone operator registered?
We are. The CAA has issued us a Flyer ID and an Operator ID, and the drone itself is under 250g, kept within sight on every flight.
Can you survey at the weekend?
We survey seven days a week: weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Just let us know the days that suit you.
How much does a drone roof survey cost in Turnham Green?
Drone roof survey starts from £400, including VAT. We confirm the price for your roof before booking, and it depends on the roof’s size, access and the package you choose. To get a price, ring 07833 053749 or send us an email.
What happens on the day
You do not need to do much on the day. Point out anything you’ve noticed, such as stains, drips or loose pieces, and we will get on with the inspection. The survey itself takes about 1–2 hours for most homes, with the pre-flight checks included, and longer for big commercial roofs. For a visit in Turnham Green, parking and access are the things to plan: let us know about permits, visitor bays or off-street space, which floor the property is on and how to get into the loft. On the day, the roof is looked at from the ground, from windows, from inside the roof space and from the roof where it’s safe.
- First comes the address, plus a note of what worries you about the roof.
- Any flight restriction at the address is checked, with permission requested if required.
- We assess the conditions and the take-off spot first.
- Close-up photos are taken of each slope, chimney, valley and gutter, with the drone always in view.
- You receive a written report with the photos and our recommendations.

What a survey costs
Every roof is different, so prices are confirmed before booking. This is what makes a difference:
- How tall the building is and how easy the roof is to see
- The number of roofs, including extensions and garages
- Commercial roofs and larger buildings
- Which survey package you book
We offer three survey packages: Basic from £150, Standard from £250 and Premium from £400, all with VAT included. The price for your roof depends on its size, access and what you need to know.
Getting in touch
Before you get in touch, it is useful to have:
- Any photos you have, taken from the ground or a window
- Anything about access we should know
- The property’s address and postcode
- Dates you are working to, such as exchange
Most bookings start with a short call: call 07833 053749 or drop us an email. The price is agreed before a date is set.
DIY checks: what’s safe
A lot can be seen from ground level. With binoculars, look for slipped or missing slates and tiles, gaps along the ridge and leaning chimneys. Never climb onto the roof to look.
Inside, the loft is a good place to look, with care. Use a torch and stay on the joists or boards, checking for stains, damp wood or chinks of daylight.

Useful tips for Turnham Green property owners
Getting the most from a drone roof survey starts before we arrive and carries on afterwards. Tips:
- Keep dogs indoors during the visit
- Book early if you are near an airport
- Mention anything you’ve noticed on the roof
- Give us the full address so we can check the airspace
We email the report to you, with close-up photographs from the flight. Findings are set out in plain English, and recommendations are ranked by urgency where that helps.
Keep gutters, valleys and outlets clear, ideally once the leaves have fallen. On high roofs, leave clearing to a professional. Many leaks start with a blocked outlet.
